Kelle Anne McCarter spent most of her life on a golf course and is a two-time winner of the Women's West Texas Golf Championship. She was a scholarship golfer for the New Mexico State University women's golf team in Las Cruces and she and her father- a former collegiate golf All-American and World Senior golf champion- own a golf management company called Desert Springs which builds and manages environmentally stewarded golf courses.

She founded "designsgirl" in 2003, a graphic design company specializing in corporate logo design. Now she has included her secret passion of calligraphy into her business, while studying under the tutelage of renowned Boulder, Colorado artist Laurie Doctor and Branford, Connecticut calligrapher Pamela LaRegina.

Kelle is a member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), the Colorado Calligraphers' Guild and a member of IAMPETH, the International Association of Master Penmen, Engrossers and Teachers of Handwriting. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree from New Mexico State University.

Kelle is a designer for Bella Figura in New York, a stylish letterpress company which creates custom wedding invitations and social stationery.

In 2009, Kelle attended her first IAMPETH convention in Nashville, Tennessee, studying with the world's finest penmen including master penmen- White House calligraphers Pat Blair and Rick Muffler, a fellow left hander.

Kelle is proud to work with Denver's poshest stationers and event planners, providing their clients with wedding, business and social calligraphy services.
